I work for World-Around Records. We're a startup company and I'm working 16 hour days to keep up. It's hard work because there's no road map, but I love what I do. Audible Hype is a platform for me to share everything I'm learning. I believe that open source works better than selfish prick, and I believe that empowering other independent musicians will do more to improve our culture than me keeping this information to myself.
I'm also a rapper, which is obviously why I started a record label. My original group, Wombaticus Rex, is ending this summer and my new outlets are Algorhythms (with Dr. Quandary) and my sex party rap project, Humpasaur Jones.
On good days, I am interested in everything in the Universe. I've written for a lot of websites and I still do. I work for Back Brain Media, and I run Brainsturbator, Skilluminati Research and of course Hump Jones, our sex education program.

Boston-based producer Dr. Quandary is a kid obsessed with space, dinosaurs, old records and women. Running the sonic gamete from hiphop to electronica, Quan blurs genre lines while creating vivid, cinematic scenes through his expert layering of samples.
Best described as a modern day Renaissance man, Adam Kadmon not only raps and produces, he also makes and modifies his own custom equipment and instruments. As a result, he creates strangely organic and warm electronic soundscapes in which the vocals are often the only form of percussion.
Adam Kadmon is out saving the world in 2008, but he'll be releasing an album or two nonetheless.
World-Around's first international member, British producer and illustrator S. Maharba of Ipswich, Suffolk brings a one-two punch of gloom-laden, atmospheric beats and stunning graphic design to the lineup. He's currently doing freelance artwork, working on tons of new material, and designing the layout for EELRIJUE, Baby.
Representing Madison, Wisconsin and Johannesburg, South Africa, Stink Tank is the brainchild of the NSFA's Creative Director, Laduma Nguyuza. Featuring some of the school's most accomplished scholars and backed by the flawless production of Man Mantis, Stink Tank strives to take the standard idea of the rap group to whole new conceptual levels.
Their debut album Books on Tape will be widely available in 2008.
Born of some obscure armpit in the great state of Ohio, Louis Mackey currently prefers to straddle the Illinois/Missouri border. Boasting an uncanny balance of lyrical prowess and unabashed conceit, Lou is habitually reckless, completely insane, overtly funky, and not to be trusted.
He is currently finishing primary recording for his first album, Funky Motherfucker, Yeah: The Best of Louis Mackey.
One of Vermont's foremost freestyle practicioners, Chris Dizzy creates a unique lyrical vibe by merging rap with elements of poetry and ancient shamanic mysticism. While probably best known for his mic skills, he's also an accomplished DJ and producer, often opting to work with his own brand of beats.
Dizzy is currently working on a highly secretive project with Vermont-based producer Kahlagh that should be available later this year.
A collaborative effort between emcee Thirtyseven of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom and Boston-based producer Dr. Quandary, Algorhythms is a seamless integration of thought-provoking rhymes and lush, conceptual soundscapes.
A product of Springfield's dirty city streets, rapper Mohrer Les is single-handedly responsible for putting the illin' noise back into Illinois. While his primary focus is crafting compelling, raw verses, he's also a self-taught producer, an illustrator and an accomplished photographer. If you've never heard of him, just ask your girlfriend.
Look out for his debut EP This One's Free... on worldaroundrecords.com this summer.
One of Albany's great, undiscovered beatmakers, 16-year-old Daimyo! (formerly Pyrotechnics) posesses a natural sensibility for production beyond his years. Using a variety of crates stocked with the best the local Salvation Army has to offer, Daimyo! blends crisp breaks with classic loops to create mellow, soulful atmospheres.
His debut EP is slated for a free summer release on worldaroundrecords.com.
Rapper Thirtyseven's attempt to achieve total sexual liberation for all free sentient Earth creatures. Smart, drunk, libidinous, totally irresponisble and backed by the quirky production of DJ Squid, DJ MSP and Prophis, H. Rumpus Jones provides a hiphop experience the likes of which the world has never seen.
A turntablist and producer hailing from Denver, Colorado via Madison, Wisconsin, Man Mantis is a hiphop megalith to be reckoned with. Blending soulful samples with tight, finely-chopped breaks, Mantis creates an impossibly classic, nostalgic hiphop feel.
Expect several mixtapes, an EP and a follow-up to his first solo record Dawn of the Def in 2008.
Mixing two parts rap with one part performance art, DJ Multiple Sex Partners is the deranged producer alter-ego of WAR emcee Thirtyseven, crafting epic sound collages with heavily deconstructed samples and just the right sense of irony.

An article I wrote for HTML Times about my stance on Barack Obama: I don't see the next President as a token figurehead or a liberal messiah, but as a dedicated political realist. As Obama himself explains, "since the founding, the American political tradition has been reformist, not revolutionary."

Rather than get another "real" boring job, I am making myself available as a writer for hire. I am a highly motivated self-teacher with a strong background in science, technology, politics, marketing, memetics, and the music business, especially hip hop. I have 3 years experience with designing and launching websites and writing targeted content.
A mixed bag, but I'm psyched for any publicity...especially Vermont publicity. Sadly, they provided a totally f'ing useless link -- check out http://www.tinyurl.com/algoep or worldaroundrecords.com to get the EP download. It's free, it's dope, I'm very proud of it.
Probably the most useful Audible Hype article I've ever done -- a detailed, step-by-step guide to using free, powerful tools to set up a professional online platform for promoting your music.

Skilluminati will be running a series on the 2008 election, staged spectacle, the ritual roots of modern politics, and the business behind putting on an election. This is the first and (probably) the darkest installment.

All about how to keep making DIY hip hop in a serious fucking economic crisis.
The Pizza SEO project is already accomplishing it's goals, and now it's exceeding my expectations and providing The Funny on an epic level. Getting my drug ramblings re-published as marketing advice? PRICELESS. Stealing google dominance from rival companies -- USING THEIR OWN NAMES? Thus do I entertain myself, yeah.

This is a DAMN GOOD READ and I'm obviously more than psyched that Jacques Vallee is back on the scene. The stars were right.
Still one of my very favorite articles I've done -- an exploration of spacetime and a meditation on measurement. I covered a lot of weird territory here and it's all good brainfood.
This is a collection of the best DJ Multiple Sex Partners solo work from 2005-2007. Cleaning out the archives for the new material. This will be coming out on World-Around Records after our first round of debut material...meanwhile, I'm leaking this because I want people to hear it. (That's still why I make music.)

I figured I'd do my part in thanking this great nation for my freedoms, and singing praises to the proudest leaders the Land of the Free has ever known.

With a headline like "Tape: Top CIA official confesses order to forge Iraq-9/11 letter came on White House stationery," you know it's a Saturday. Oh, and the OLYMPICS ARE ON. Bright shiny lights! Beautiful human athletes! Stirring music! Look away from the....yeah.

Just a little morning riff on the growing Post-Reality trend, as viral marketing and ARG campaigns honeycomb through our culture. The unintended consequences will be vast, like always. This is a quick look at Cloverfield and Christians, Charlie White providing David Icke right, and the recent Montauk Monster.
Rehabilitating one of the earliest Brainsturbator articles into something more useful and beautiful than a mere collection of links. Tony Smith is mega-genius and super-entertaining. Up next: Chris King.

The site is almost done, and in the meantime, we're giving away 4 albums: Dr. Quandary's "Quanny Sitar," S. Maharba's "She," "Keep it Moist" from Humpasaur Jones and the infamous Japan EP, courtesy of DJ Multiple Sex Partners. Enjoy.
From the upcoming album Pure Fucking Love -- three new tracks on the devil myspace.

I'm very interested in this book...it's available free but I'm never reading another book in PDF format, too hard on the eyes and the soul. Tactical resistance to the police state, related in operational detail, formatted as an adventure novel for teenagers of all ages...this could be pretty big.

This was badass, reminded me of his face-burners like Bios and Logos.

Just one of those little puzzle pieces that will become more signifigant later on.

An interesting read...I always wonder how to bridge the gap between that hopeful horizon and right now, but that's just me. Pessimist, cynic, logical. FIGHT TO KEEP CLEAN ENERGY FREE. If there's a meter attached, fight back.
As you can probably tell by the tone of the article, this is my swan song for the 5GW Project. It's not that I'm bored with warfare, it's just that I'm headed in a far larger and weirder direction and it's time to stop stepping on toes.

I'm shooting for 333 entries to make it really useful. Nothing signifigant about that number beyond signifigance of it. Still trying to reshuffle all my ideas and models about conflict and warfare into something that blends aikido and anarchism. In other news, Burn the Vampire.
